18.4 was the OB (outbound) exchange student training day in Lahti. on friday 17.4 we rye-students met with each other. we didn't really do anything but we got to talk and get to know each other better.
you got to put chocolate in your porridge @ our hotel breakfast..
in the actual training on saturday we went through some practical things, tried on our rotary blazers and bought all kinds of rotary merch. i forgot to take a picture of the blazer but i'll post a pic when we get them in summer. this year we apparently have black blazers!
anyway i bought a grey rotary-hoodie, it was a little expensive but it's good quality and good looking and i'm sure i'll wear it a lot.

yeah there's a lot of stuff to do but i don't really have the energy or time to do anything since the paperwork from korea will probably take a while to come and it all seems so far away. i have recipes for vaccines already, maybe i'll start making pins. i'm thinking of making angry birds and finland's flag themed pins. i'm working all summer so i won't at least get bored. and oh yeah, departure date is 12.8!!!!!
amanda already got her district and city info since her host omma contacted her, but i don't have any info yet. before there has only been one student going to korea from finland, this is the first year when there's two. they've always went to the same district which is the one amanda is going to, but since there's two of us now they might put us in different districts..?
i don't know when will be the next time i'll update but until then
have a nice spring!!
